Hello and welcome. My name is Azariah and I'm a professional and registered counsellor from Donegal, working in Waterloo Place, Derry. I work therapeutically with people in many areas such as addiction, grief and loss, anxiety and depression, confidence and self-worth issues, relationship problems and trauma, to name a few. My aim is to help you reach the goals you wish to achieve and make the changes in your life that you have always wanted to make. I believe that through meaningful and purposeful conversation, in a non-judgmental environment, you can become free from what holds you back in life so you can find the true path to happiness. ABOUT ME
I began my training in counselling in 2011. Since that time I have completed a Bachelor Degree in Counselling from The University of Notre Dame, Australia. I began working as a counsellor in 2015 and realised many of my clients had experienced trauma at some point in their lives. This led me to undertake a Postgraduate Certificate in Trauma which was run through The Australia Childhood Foundation. Upon returning to my home country of Ireland in 2018, I completed a Master's Degree in Addiction Counselling and Psychotherapy. I currently work for an addiction agency as well as having my own private practice in Waterloo Place, County Derry. I specialize in helping people identify and achieve their personal goals by coping with the issues that are causing them distress, anxiety, and stress. Additionally, I help people to process their past pain at a pace that is comfortable for them. I take great pride in the progress and success of my clients, and look forward to helping future clients.
I also hold a Profession Diploma in Integrative Supervision and have availability to provide counselling supervision to professionals in the field. Please get in touch to learn more.
